YALC Goes Giant (Days)!

Non Pratt’s GIANT DAYS novel may not be officially publishing until the 21st of August but that hasn’t stopped us flying over early copies just for YALC!

They’ll be exclusively available at the YALC Waterstones while stocks last, and that’s not all…

If you bring your proof-of-purchase to the A&CB stand, you can claim a free, re-usable (BPA-free) Giant Days coffee cup – a student essential!

Look out for Non Pratt on the Friday and Saturday if you’d like to get your copy signed. We’ll also have free posters and postcards (complete with a student room checklist on the back and annotations from Daisy, Esther and Susan).

If you take a snap with our Giant Days selfie frame and tag us on social media with the hashtag #GiantDays (Twitter: @acbya, Instagram: @abramschronicle), you’ll be entered into a draw to win a signed copy of the book, a coffee cup and £100 worth of A&CB books and stationery of your choice (excluding licensed products).

We’ll be selling some recent YA, graphic novels (and a few bits of stationery) with special offers on our stand and running some other fun giveaways. We just happen to have in our possession 100 samplers of the mighty A.G. Howard’s STAIN (due out in Jan 2019). There’ll be a set number available each day via a fancy lucky-dip so come along and test your chances. We’re unbelievably excited for this book, which has influences including Mulan, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. You can find out more about it here.

We will have a couple of other exciting new proofs of books coming this October and these will be available on our stand at the times below:

EASY PREY by Catherine Lo: 25 copies everyday from 10am – 12pm

BENEATH THE CITADEL by Destiny Soria: 25 copies everyday from 3pm-5pm

If you enjoyed Karen McManus’ One Of Us Is Lying, then Easy Prey may be your thing. It’s an edgy whodunit to uncover which of three students leaked a teacher’s private photos and why. Find out more here.

If you’re into fantasy, a la Six of Crows, then check out Beneath The Citadel. You’ll find a well-woven tale of infallible prophecies, legacies of rebellion and an unlikely team coming together to try and save the city. Find out more here.

Of course, do not worry if you can’t make it to YALC this time. You will still have a chance to get your hands on proofs and samplers – just make sure you’re signed up to our blogger newsletter.
